New Student Academic Advisement

The Office of Academic Achievement serves as a bridge into the college for new students. It provides intake academic advisement to incoming freshmen and transfer students helping them prepare their first semester courses, understand their CUNY Placement Test Scores, and academic plan requirements.

Advisors work one-on-one with students in the process of choosing courses, and providing referrals to appropriate resources.

Caiman Advisors (peer advisors) provide assistance to new students with navigating e-SIMS, CUNY Portal and the Schedule of Classes.
