The Office of Academic Achievement provides enrollment management and student support services for first-semester transfer students, continuing students on academic probation and students seeking readmission. Advisors work closely with students to help them choose courses and plan their academic careers, providing information on academic policies, procedures, programs and enrollment, as well as helping them to develop self-management skills, and in general, learn how to succeed. Staff also monitors the academic progress and retention rate of these students over the course of the semester. In addition, the Office of Academic Achievement provides interventions and advisement services to students who are on academic probation to help them get their careers back on track.
