BIOGRAPHY

Ángel Morales is a professor of Theatre at Hostos Community College in NYC and the Artistic Director of the award winning Hostos Repertory Company. He received his M.A. in Educational Theatre from NYU. Originally from Puerto Rico, he has directed numerous plays including the world premiere of the acclaimed Borinquen vive en El Barrio by Tere Martínez, In the Blood by Suzan-Lori Parks, boom by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb and the US premiere of You Always Forget Something which received three HOLA and two ACE awards. His works have been showcased at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, Region 1, and at the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland. Morales is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC) Society, and is currently a doctoral student at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education.
