Extracurricular Activities

Students from the Department of Language and Cognition enjoy the full range of activities offered by the college, such as the academic conferences regularly offered by the Office of Academic Affairs.

"All work and no play" can make Johnny and Jane very dull people. So, find out what student clubs you would like to join. Get to know students who have the same interests as you. Take a tour of "Club Row" along the balcony of the 4th and 5th floors of the C Building, and go into each office, introduce yourself, and speak to the students who are there. Make yourself known!

There are currently two clubs run by teachers of the Department of Language and Cognition: The Student Newsletter and "What Meets the Eye."

Click on The Student Newsletter and "What Meets the Eye," on the department Web page, to learn more about these activities.
