Submit an Event or Story Idea

The Communications Department may help publicize and promote campus events through the College events calendar, web news pages, CUNY Events Calendar, and other internal and external means of communication including the Hostos Distribution List, the Student Distribution List, and the College’s electronic bulletin board system.

The submission of campus-wide events, story ideas for press releases, news articles and audio/visual productions are welcome. To post an event on the website or to request a press release for any type of event or newsworthy announcement, complete the Online College Communications Request Form.

Events may require up to 72 hours to review and post. Approximately 2-3 weeks advanced notice may be needed to gather all of the information for a story idea.
