Welcome to the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture

The centerpiece of the new campus at Hostos Community College of The City University of New York, the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture consists of a museum-grade art gallery, a 367-seat theater, and a 907-seat concert hall. The Hostos Center presents artists of national and international renown. It also presents emerging and established local artists, and it offers workshops in drama, folk arts, and dance to community residents.

On the campus of one of the most dynamic colleges in the City University system, the Hostos Center occupies an enviable location at one of the major crossroads of New York City. It is easily accessible from Manhattan, Queens and New Jersey via two major highways, and it is a mere 15 minutes by subway from mid-town Manhattan. Two IRT subway lines converge at a station which is virtually at the Center's door.
