THE TWEETBOOGIE EXPERIENCE – WORLD PREMIERE

Always representing The South Bronx, TweetBoogie is devoted to the street styles of hip-hop and dance. Her passion led her to work with top artists like ‪Jay-Z, ‪LL Cool J, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, and the iconic Miss Janet Jackson herself, while keeping roots to the underground dance community. Most recently, she choreographed for 50 Cents’ Green Light Gang World Tour, Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous Tour and the BET Awards 2023, celebrating Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary.‬‬

With an ensemble of stellar dancers, The TweetBoogie Experience dives deep into Tweet’s connection to Black music, dance, history, and true hip-hop culture. It takes the audience on an imaginative journey from the streets of the South Bronx to all over the world and back again.

Tweet Boogie’s residency and performance at Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture is part of the CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), which receives major support from The Mertz Gilmore Foundation and Howard Gilman Foundation. Additional support is provided by the SHS Foundation, Harkness Foundation for Dance, the National Endowment for the Arts, and public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. CDI is spearheaded by The Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College.
