Contact Tracing:
What is it, and what will it mean for New Yorkers?

The Town hall will be streamed live for the public on:

Official NYC Public Advocate's Facebook page (click this link).

Today, Wednesday, May 6th at 5:00p.m.

Co-sponsored by the offices of Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer.

Contact tracing can be a highly effective tool against #COVID19, but it is imperative that we protect the privacy of the most vulnerable New Yorkers. This virus has disproportionately impacted lower-income communities and people of more color— the program needs to be responsive to that.

Leaders in the fields of public health, civil liberties, and technology will share their concerns and help explain how the system will impact us all.
