For the second consecutive year, the Hostos Community College men’s basketball has won the CUNY Athletic Conference regular season title. The No. 10-ranked Caimans beat Kingsborough Community College, 85-61, last week to help ensure the top seed in the upcoming CUNY Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship Tournament.  The Caimans now stand with a record of 21-4 overall (17-4 Region XV and 10-0 CUNY). The Caimans are also riding a six-game winning streak.

“Our program's ability to remain highly successful and status quo is attributed to the commitment of our student-athletes. Hopefully, we can continue our success this season with post season hardware," said Head Coach Dr. Jody King.

The CUNY Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship Tournament will be held at Kingsborough Community College, with the semifinals taking place on February 19 and the championship on the February 21.  The Caimans open tournament play on February 19 at 6:00 p.m., but their opponent is still to be determined.
