Teachers and Toddlers. smiling

Hostos students with toddlers and preschoolers between the ages of 2 and 4 are encouraged to visit the Hostos Children’s Center located on campus in A-Building - Room 109A as an option for their childcare needs.

Much more than a daycare, the Children’s Center provides a safe, nurturing, affordable, and high-quality educational learning environment. The specially designed curriculum promotes social, emotional, physical, cognitive and dual language (English/Spanish) development skills to empower children to become lifelong learners. And, since it is located on campus, children are exposed to a college environment at a young age.

Another exceptional learning tool children can use is the Rhoda Brown Children’s Library, which features hundreds of children and family books. The Center also engages parents in activities and workshops throughout the year for the holistic development of their child.

As long as a student is enrolled at Hostos, they qualify for the Center’s services.
