On June 22, Hostos President Dr. David Gómez was recognized at the Latino Center on Aging's Twenty-Fifth Golden Age Awards and 25th Anniversary Gala at Villa Barone Manor in The Bronx.

Receiving the Center’s Golden Age Award were: Dr. David Gómez; Gene Memoli from Omnicare; Dr. Carmen D. Sánchez of the Puerto Rico Office on Aging; Tim O'Toole from VITAS Healthcare; John R. Colón from Bronx/Lebanon Hospital; Josh Klein of Royal Care NYC; and Connie Landau of Platinum Care.
