Hostos Volleyball player Seyma Soylu

Hostos is thrilled to announce that sophomore Seyma Soylu has been named the CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year for her outstanding efforts this season.
 
The Turkey native helped lead the Caiman to this year’s CUNYAC Championship semifinals while leading the squad in points and kills for the season.

Krishna Dass, Hostos Athletic Director stated, “Seyma is an impact player who will certainly leave a legacy within the Hostos Volleyball Program.  Although she suffered from an injury, she was able to persevere and earn the highest accolade bestowed upon a player for a season. I am extremely proud of her efforts on the volleyball court and even prouder of her commitment to excellence in the classroom.”
