Recently taking home the NJCAA Division-III Region XV championship on March 3, the Caimans have a bigger prize in mind starting March 14: the NJCAA Division-III national title, which it won last year for the first time in the program’s history.

The Caimans had another dominating season, going 25-5 overall and are riding a five-game win streak. While last season’s all around team, league and tournament MVP was Kayla Wilson, this season, players like Apilyn Bonny, who earned Region XV Tournament MVP, Skydajah Patterson, who was named Region XV Player of the Year, join Coach of the Year DeVernie Winston and Wilson in this repeat bid.

After knocking off then-No. 1 ranked Massasoit Community College in late February, the Caimans claimed the top spot in the NJCAA Division-III Poll and haven’t looked back. The Caimans spent nine straight weeks at No. 1 in 2017-18—a season that culminated a first-ever national championship for the women’s team.

The NJCAA Division-III Tournament is March 14-16, at the Arthur L. Scott Center in Bethlehem, PA.
