Standard 10: Faculty
- How do faculty use available resources (e.g., research, rubrics, professional development activities, etc.) to improve learning outcomes?
- How equitably is service to the department, the institution and the community shared among faculty, both tenured and untenured?
- What mechanisms exist for regular review of reappointment, tenure, and promotion requirements? Are these requirements effectively communicated to faculty? Are these decisions made equitably?
- To what extent does each department, and the college in general, support the advancement and development of faculty to enhance teaching, scholarship, and service?
- How well are adjuncts supported and supervised in their departments?
- How well does the College plan for faculty staffing needs (e.g., faculty retirement) to meet the challenges of the changing student body, University requirements, and workforce?
