Procedures
In order for the Building and Grounds department of operate efficiently all non-emergency requests for maintenance, engineering and housekeeping services should be submitted using our web-based Work Order System (accessible within the Hostos campus only). Emergencies such as the following:
- Liquids on floor
- No electrical power
- No lights
- Bathroom stoppages
- Damaged/missing ceiling tiles (especially in the 500 GC building)
- Leaking ceilings and pipes
- Foreign odors – gas, fumes, etc.
can be reported immediately to the following offices/individuals:
- Campus Planning Office, N. Collazo
- Chief Administrative Superintendent, F. Virone
- Administrative Superintendent, J. Globerman
- Engineering Office
- Health & Safety Office, D. McFarlane
- Public Safety (24/7)
