In addition to financial aid awards (PELL & TAP) you will receive:

• Up to 6 semesters of the CD book stipend when registered FT.
• Book stipend for 2 summers (must register for 6 credits or more)
• CD stipend for attending the Summer Discover program
• 75% of activity fee paid by CD
• Academic support that includes tutoring and supplemental instruction for the CUNY placement tests and remedial courses .
• An opportunity to become part of the CD Academic Excellence cohort, the HCC Leadership Academy and the Office of Special Programs Leadership Initiative.

• CD orientation course
• Upon graduation, transfer of benefits (includes the book stipend) to schools who have an opportunity program which includes CUNY, State University and some private schools.
• A tuition waiver at a state school for completing a Master’s Degree.
