Fundamentals of Residential Home Monitoring, Alarm, and Security and Surveillance Devices

This 40-hours course will provide students with a fundamental knowledge of home alarm devices, and security and surveillance devices. Students will learn from an expert technician the best equipment on the market. Students will learn electricity basics, tools, wiring techniques, burglary and fire alarm systems and CCTV basics. Stations will be arranged where students will get to work with these devices, learn the features, and how to network programs and install them.  Dates are 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4.
