Information Technology: Introduction to Advanced Routers
This 40-hour course is designed for students who have a basic understanding of CISCO systems and who are interested in examining the routing systems used in large companies. This course will take an in depth look into Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). Learn how to verify basic EIGRP for enterprise LAN and WAN architecture. Students will learn how to plan and setup a scalable multi-area OSPF network and ways to improve routing efficiency in enterprise networks. With the completion of this course, students will be have the knowledge needed to determine path selections, configure route redistribution, and connect an enterprise network to an ISP network. The dates of the class are 8/14, 8/21, 8/28, 9/11, 9/18.
