This 54-hours’ certificate program is great for nonprofits,
businesses and paralegal professionals who
want to learn more about particular legal topics. The
instruction is practice-oriented and relates to
those areas of the law in which one encounters in New
York City practice. This course is taught by experienced
faculty, including New York State Attorneys and
Certified bilingual experienced
paralegals. Our subject matter
includes: Immigration Law, Wills, Trusts and Estates,
Bankruptcy, Family Law, Real
Estate, and Civil Litigation. The Document preparation part
of the course deals with the practical realities
of the New York legal field with special emphasis on
preparing the following legal documents:
Divorces, Immigration Forms, Filling and Creating NY
Corporations, Filling Bankruptcy Petitions,
Custody and Support Forms as well as Wills, Power of
Attorney, Living Wills and
Affidavits.
