An exhibit of over 40 photographs, news articles, and historic front pages from El Diario/La Prensa, the longest-publishing Spanish language daily newspaper in the United States, chronicling the growth and transformation of the Hispanic Community in The Bronx from the early revitalization of the Borough in the 1980’s, through September 11th, 2001. This program is part of a series of satellite exhibits citywide, commemorating the 100th Anniversary of El Diario/La Prensa. Presented in partnership with El Diario/La Prensa, Columbia University, the King Juan Carlos I Center at New York University, El Museo del Barrio, Hostos Community College and the Bronx Council on the Arts.
