Boleros presents recent work by contemporary artists that directly and indirectly allude to emotions of love and loss, memories and longing/nostalgia, touch/contact and other feelings that have inspired or are associated with “boleros”, songs which originated in Cuba and became very popular in the 1930’s and 40’s throughout Latin America.
