A native of Puerto Rico, Javier Padilla is an emerging choreographer, dancer, pilates instructor and movement artist based interested in utilizing innovative technological and marketing strategies to enhance artist visibility and creating works for both traditional and nontraditional environments. After a week-long residency at Hostos, Javier and his dance company, The Movement Playground, invite you to an open rehearsal of a new work, the world ends with you. A meet-the artist reception follows in the Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos.
