Twice a year, OSL invites New York City’s public school students to outstanding classical music performances designed specially for young people. These OSL concerts—which incorporate other arts disciplines, such as puppetry, dance, or visual art—are presented free of charge and reach more than 10,000 children annually. For many, it is their first live concert experience.

OSL begins its annual Free School Concerts series with a program highlighting the music and life of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most influential composers in the history of Western classical music.

The second concert in OSL’s Free School Concerts series brings the iconic dance works of the late visionary choreographer Paul Taylor to New York City’s public school students. Members of the Paul Taylor Dance Company will perform Taylor’s works to live music by classical composers performed by Orchestra of St. Luke’s.

Reservations for Fall Free School Concerts are now open.
