Database Help
We subscribe to many databases that can help you identify journal, newspaper and magazine articles. To find journal, magazine and newspaper articles, select and search a database:
1) I'm just starting my research. What database should I use?You can search by subject (arranged by academic department) or try Research Starters.

4) How do I access databases off-campus?
Please click here for directions on using the databases off-campus. You can access these resources with your 14-digit Library I.D. (barcode) number located on the front of your Hostos I.D. Card. Be sure to check with the library circulation desk to make sure your Hostos I.D. is active. You can access our complete list of databases here.
5) Having trouble logging in? We use EZ-Proxy to authenticate off-campus users. If you are on-campus and are having trouble accessing any of our databases, you might try our list of databases without the EZ-Proxy prefix.
