AltHealth Watch
This alternative health database provides full text for more than 180 publications, including full text for many peer-reviewed journals. Alt HealthWatch provides in-depth coverage across the full spectrum of subject areas covered by complementary and alternative medicine dating back to 1990.


CINAHL Plus with Full Text
The most comprehensive source available of full text for nursing and allied health journals, providing full text for more than 560 journals. With more than 600,000 full-text articles dating back to 1937, CINAHL Plus with Full Text is an excellent research tool for all areas of nursing and allied health literature.


Health and Wellness Resource Center
This database has reference materials as well as full-text magazines, journals, and pamphlets from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources, including the Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine and Mosby's Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health Dictionary.


Health Reference Center (Facts on File)
Contains thousands of entries organized into four major categories: conditions and diseases, mental health, health and wellness, and body systems. It provides clear information on the causes, cures, key research, medical terms, symptoms, treatments and trends, and organizations in each field of study.


Health Reference Center Academic
Full-text articles on fitness, pregnancy, medicine, nutrition, diseases, public health, occupational health and safety, HMOs and related subjects. There are forty full text academic journals within the Health Reference Center in the fields of nursing and allied health. Coverage begins with 1996.


Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
Coverage of nursing and allied health is particularly strong, including full text from Creative Nursing, Issues in Comprehensive Pediatric Nursing, Issues in Mental Health Nursing, Journal of Advanced Nursing, Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing, Journal of Clinical Nursing, Journal of Community Health Nursing, Journal of Nursing Management, Journal of the Society of Pediatric Nurses, Nursing, Nursing Diagnosis, Nursing Ethics, Nursing Forum, Nursing Inquiry, and many more. JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association)
JAMA is an international peer-reviewed general medical journal published 48 times per year. It is the most widely circulated medical journal in the world. Full-text access: January 1998-present

This medical reference guide provides overviews and images for diseases, disorders, treatments, procedures, specialties, anatomy, biology, and issues in an A-Z format, with sidebars addressing recent developments in medicine.


New England Journal of Medicine
Full-text of this major medical journal 1993-present.


Nursing Resource Center (Gale)
Provides authoritative information written in accessible language for students completing research papers, class assignments, and those preparing for their clinical experiences as they learn how to care for and treat patients. It includes nursing reference works, such as PDR Nurses Drug Handbook and NANDA?s Nursing Diagnoses: Definitions and Classification, as well as nursing care plans and core nursing and allied health journals.
