Prof. Diaz has served as Reference librarian at Hostos for over a quarter of a century. In addition, he currently serves as Coordinator of Reference & Deputy Chief Librarian. He teaches Information Literacy workshops as part of the library instruction program. Recently, he contributed articles to Latinas in the United States: a Historical Encyclopedia (2006) and contributed a chapter (co-written with M. Laskin), “Literary Research in a Bilingual Environment: Information Literacy as a Language-Learning Tool,” to the forthcoming book, Teaching Literary Research.
