Different Types of Periodicals
The terms "magazine", "journal". "periodical", and "serial" are often used interchangeably. However, some distinctions can be made. "Periodical" is a general term that can be applied to any publication that is issued periodically e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually.
