Receiving and Sending Messages

• You do not have to be at using your computer to receive a message. Your service provider keeps all your messages on their computer (called a mail server) until you ask for them via your computer.

• When you send a message, do not assume the person receiving the message will read it right away. Some people may not regularly check their e-mail messages.
