Citing Sources


If you incorporate somebody else's materials or ideas in your own research, you must acknowledge the original author or creator. Failure to provide citations to the source material is an unethical practice called plagiarism.

Full citations must be provided for all types of sources including books, articles, government documents, interviews, Internet sources, software and other nonprint material (videos, graphics, sound recordings, etc.).
