Monday, February 4, 2013 (Bronx, NY) — The Caimans men’s basketball team has jumped to No. 8 in the nation in the NJCAA Division III poll.
The team cracked the Top 10 early in January, earning a No. 9 ranking, and has been on a roll. The Caimans beat Suffolk County Community College on January 29, 80-73, to complete the sweep over the Sharks. The victory also kept the Caimans atop the Region XV (13-1) and the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) standings (5-0). As of Wednesday, the Caimans were 18-2 overall.
