Every student in the Hostos Community College College College Now Program
HAS THE Right TO
Expect and receive high caliber, college-level instruction.
Meet with instructors to discuss academic matters.
Receive textbooks or other materials as required by instructors.
Participate in dynamic and thought-provoking classroom discussions.
Have his or her voice heard in classroom discussions, while also respecting the dignity and rights of others to express their opinions.
Dress according to his or her wishes, but in a style that is appropriate to a college environment.
Receive academic counseling and expect that parents/ guardians be apprised of academic progress and attendance.
Receive full college credit for successful completion of credit-bearing courses.
Participate in city-wide College Now activities (such as Model City Council.)
