The Computer Information Systems and Technology Unit offers an A.A.S. in Microcomputers for Business.
The program has two optional tracks:
The Computer information Systems and Technology Unit programs prepare students to seek job opportunities as microcomputer specialists, junior programmers, office systems technicians or other related jobs. Graduates may also pursue a bachelor's degree in Information Systems at a four -year institution.
The Unit also offers an ON-LINE Certificate in Business Information Systems program for individuals who wish to upgrade their computer skills. The program seeks to target individuals who:
The Certificate in Computer Information Systems program is designed to reach people interested to enter the Information Station field such as system development or database management, or the technical field such as the computer support area. In order to reach a broad audience, the program will be offered online. Many of the courses are also offered in the regular face-to-face format so students will be able to choose.
