September 11 Scholarship Alliance is coordinating
scholarship funds created to assist families of
people killed or permanently disabled in the
terrorist attacks on America on September 11, 2001,
including airplane crews and passengers, World Trade
Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, and relief
workers - including firefighters, law enforcement
and port authority officers, and emergency medical
personnel. |

Governor: Free College for World Trade Center Victim
Families - Governor George E. Pataki has
announced he will submit legislation guaranteeing a
college education to all of the families of those
killed or seriously and permanently disabled in the
terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center at all
SUNY and CUNY schools, or an equivalent amount of
aid for students who attend private colleges in New
York State. |

million for schools are on their way to the State of
New York to address the impacts of the terrorist

Loan Relief for Military Personnel Called to Active Duty
(09/24/01) - To assist members of the military who have been
reassigned or activated as a result of the recent terrorist attacks, the
U.S. Department of Education today directed lenders and colleges and
universities to provide them with relief from their student loan
obligations. |
