Completing hiring documents

Once you have secured a job, you must complete FWS hiring documents and submit them to the Office of Financial Aid for processing. Your hiring documents must be accepted by the Office of Financial Aid before you begin working. You cannot be paid and should not work until you have received confirmation that you are an active employee in the College's payroll system for that job.

Hiring documents will be available on the date of your appointment set by the Office of Financial Aid.

Payroll is a deadline-driven process. Refer to the Federal Work-Study Program Time Input Detail for the deadline dates that apply for each biweekly payroll period, and be sure to submit completed hiring documents by the stated deadlines.

All hiring documents should be completed and submitted to the Office of Financial Aid at the same time. Instructions for completing FWS hiring documents listed below are contained on the forms themselves and on the date of your appointment.
