How much money can I get?
You may receive up to 4 full-time semesters of Pell Grants in any award year. This means that if you qualify for a Pell Grant, you may receive disbursements in the Fall, Spring, & Summer sessions. However, to be able to receive a third and fourth semester payment during an academic year:
- You are required to have completed and passed a minimum of 24 billable/equated credits within the same award year.
- You will have to enroll at least 6 billable/equated credits after the 24 completed credits in that same award year.
How much you get will depend on your EFC, your cost of attendance and whether you're a full-time or part-time student. You may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.
