The New York Lottery's Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) scholarships are for those students who work hard but might not necessarily qualify to win traditional scholarship awards. We are looking for students who are well-rounded socially, athletically and academically, work hard, show determination and may otherwise be overlooked for a scholarship.

Qualified high school seniors will be asked to complete an application. From the applicants, a statewide selection panel will choose scholarship winners. We will award one senior in every public and private high school in New York State a scholarship of $1,000 a year for four years for a total of $4,000. Students must attend a New York university, college, community college or trade school to be eligible.

This program offers deserving students an opportunity to continue their education in New York State. What better way could the New York Lottery show our commitment to educating New York children? After all, our children are the Leaders of Tomorrow.
