POSITION: Assistant
Professor or Associate Professor Early Childhood
Education (Anticipated Tenure Track Position)
Duties:
To teach all levels of undergraduate courses in early childhood education
including supervision of field work students. Successful candidates will
participate in departmental and college assignments; community services;
student guidance; research and scholarly activities leading to professional
growth; and other tasks normally associated with a full time teaching
position.
Qualifications:
For appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor a candidate must
possess a Doctorate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary
Education, Child Development OR School Psychology. Evidence of at least
three years experience teaching young children in diverse, bilingual and
multicultural settings and experience teaching at the college level and / or
in teacher training. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are advantageous.
Special education or instructional technology training and/or experience is
desirable.
Salary: Assistant
Professor: $ 32,703 - $ 57,049
Associate Professor: $ 42,616 - $ 68,174
(Salary commensurate with educational background and work experience.)
