POSITION: Assistant/Associate Professor - Business - General Business
                      Business Department




POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES

The successful candidate will be expected to teach general business and accounting courses including, but not limited to, Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, e-Commerce, Business Ethics and Accounting. Additional responsibilities include: participating in departmental and college activities; scheduling office hours; conducting career and academic advisement; mentoring students; and perform other duties associated with a full-time teaching assignment. Day/evening and/or weekend schedules will be assigned.
 

 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Ph.D., D.B.A. or other appropriate terminal degree. Prior teaching experience and proven record of research and publications is required for the Associate Professor level. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, experience with non-traditional learners and use of instructional technology, including Web-based materials. Fluency in Spanish and curriculum development a plus.



SALARY:  Assistant Professor: $38,801 - $67,092

                   Associate Professor: $50,321 - $80,020

                   FLSA Status Exempt
