POSITION:
Assistant/Associate Professor Mathematics Department
(2 Positions)
Duties:
Teach all levels of undergraduate courses offered by the department,
including developmental levels. Successful candidates will participate in
departmental and college assignments, community services, student guidance,
curriculum development, research and scholarly activities leading to
professional growth, and other tasks normally associated with a full-time
teaching position. Evening/week-end schedule may be required.
Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education and at least three
years of successful teaching experience required. Preferred experiences:
integration of technology in the classroom, bilingual teaching, teaching of
engineering courses exposure to multicultural student populations in an
urban setting: Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are advantageous.
Salary:
Assistant Professor: $39,521 - $66,292
Associate Professor: $51,501 - $79,220
(Depending on qualifications and work experience.)
FLSA: Exempt
