POSITION:
ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
(Full-time tenure track line A.A.S. in Nursing Program)
DUTIES: Work with faculty to evaluate curriculum plan, complete and update required reading assignment in syllabi. Select clinical sites appropriate to LPN curriculum. Institute contracts for agencies for each semester. Review applicants' information to identify cohort for the coming school year, call those who meet requirements. Develop schedule for program, serve as an administrator for LPN program reporting to coordinator. Teach in LPN and RN programs for both clinical and theoretical component.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Current New York State Licensure
-
M.Ed. and M.S. in Nursing

Extensive clinical experience (at least 10 years) with LPNs and A.A.S., R.N. graduates.

Curriculum development experience in LPN and RN programs.

Must be effective with diverse cultural groups.
SALARY:
Assistant Professor $32,703 - $57,049
Associate Professor $42,616 - $68,174
(Commensurate with qualifications and experience.)
