POSITION:  Executive Assistant to the Vice President SD&EM

                                                (Assistant to HEO)


Duties:

The successful candidate will assist the Vice President in planning, organizing, implementing, publicizing, monitoring and measuring the results of various initiatives and activities in the Division that impact upon student development and enrollment management. His/Her responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Facilitating fact finding, data collection/analysis, review, writing, and benchmarking of various projects.

  • Identifying and analyzing professional and process trends in student development and enrollment management.

  • Playing a key role in project design and implementation, as well as in the development of institutional policy.

  • Developing resources (including grant writing) for funding initiatives that increase and improve student services.

  • Monitoring of Divisional budgets; prioritizing expenditure commitments.

  • Writing and editing of reports, promotional pieces, publications and web presentations.

  • Preparing and maintaining working project files, progress reports, and periodic reports; organizing and reviewing databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Providing logistical support for Divisional meetings, Vice President’s presentations, recruitment campaigns, etc.

  • Coordinating and supervising administrative, secretarial and clerical services within the Vice President’s Office.
     


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree required. At least two years of successful experience in a diverse, complex organization (that includes responsibilities in the areas of business, marketing, education or public administration) preferred.  Preference will also be given to someone with history of employment in a college or university. Must have excellent supervisory, IT, communications (written and verbal) skills and demonstrated ability to work efficiently and collegially in a fast-paced work environment.

 

 


Salary:      $28,943 - $53,112
                       (Depending on educational qualifications and work experience.)
                       FLSA: Non-Exempt
