JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Health Industry Resources Enterprises, Inc. (HIRE, Inc.), a non-profit
community based organization, a leader in providing mental health, social
services and housing to individuals suffering from mental illness and
HIV/AIDS, is seeking a CASE MANAGER for its Safe Haven Program, assisting
homeless mentally ill residents.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the completion of initial intake and assessment of
candidates to the program;
- Assist residents in gaining access to entitlements available to this
population;
- Participate in individual and group counseling with residents;
- Candidate will be on-call beeper system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in the Health/Human Services area plus one (1) year
experience or;
- Associate's Degree in the Health/Human Services area plus three (3)
years experience in providing counseling to this population and working
in a community-based organization setting.
SALARY: Commensurate
with experience.
