Step 1.

Watch the “how to” video below to learn how to claim your CUNYfirst account.

CUNYfirst is the University’s enrollment and student information system.  You already have a user name and CUNY i.d. number in the system (EMPL ID) but you have to log into the system to claim your account and set up your password.

Step 2.

Now that you have watched the video, log into the CUNYfirst system and click on “First Time Users”. Have a pen and paper ready to write down your new CUNY user name and CUNY i.d. number.  For security reasons, do not write your password in the same place as your user information.

Step 3.

Follow up with any pending Immunization or Testing requirements. To enroll in classes:

• Your immunization documents must be on file.
• Your placement test results must to be available (usually about 10 days after you take the placement test).

You will receive another e-mail and/or call from Hostos as soon as your test results are available in the CUNYfirst (CF) system AND  that CUNYfirst shows that you are in compliance with all immunization requirements.  The e-mail and or call will give you instructions asking you to report to a specific office for early advisement and registration.
