Biography
Glenda G. Grace serves as Executive Counsel to the President and Labor Designee. In 2007 and 2008, Ms. Grace was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Hofstra University School of Law. For over ten years, Ms. Grace was Special Counsel with the New York State Capital Defender Office, advising on all facets of New York's capital statute and its operation, and representing clients. Prior to that, Ms. Grace worked as a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison on matters involving bankruptcy, contract, criminal, employment, discrimination, real estate, and trademark law. Her career began with service as a human rights intern in Nairobi, Kenya and a law student clinician for the AIDS Law Clinic at the Columbia Law School. In the latter capacity, she obtained one of the highest damage awards in State Division history. Ms. Grace clerked for the Honorable U. W. Clemon of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama. Ms. Grace holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (BA in Psychology; BS in Economics) and the Columbia University School of Law.
