Welcome to Hostos Community College's Office of Student Development and Enrollment Management (SDEM), of the City University of New York (CUNY)! As stated in CUNY's Student Affairs Mission Statement, “The strength of The City University of New York is derived from the diversity of its students and from each College’s distinctly defined institutional character. As a consequence, each College offers discrete campus-based services and programs which reflect its unique mission, character and student populations. The Student Affairs divisions of each College provides quality services and programs which support the academic mission of the University and enhance student learning and development.
