Economic Eligibility Criteria for First Time Students

In order to receive College Discovery Funds and other supportive services, all first time freshman who apply to College Discovery must:

  • Be economically eligible based on Table III (below) established by the Commissioner of Education.

  • Provide proof of income for the preceding calendar year.

  • Apply for a basic educational opportunity grant (PELL) with the appropriate Federal Government agency.

  • Apply for TAP with the Higher Education Services Corporation.

  • Register and enroll full time.
