FIND OUT what grade point average (GPA) is required for admission to the institution and/ or program.
DEVELOP a transfer plan to map how your courses can be used to fulfill the requirements of your intended program.
DEADLINES are important for applications, scholarships, placement tests, etc. Keep a calendar or a college worksheet (available in the Transfer Center) of all deadlines.
ASK the institution you want to attend for an unofficial-evaluation of your transcript.
SEEK assistance from a faculty member in the English department. Some colleges require an essay as part of the application process.
SUBMIT your application for admission to the institution you want to attend. Include your application fee, and any other required documents!

KEEP course syllabus for all classes you take. Store them in a binder or some other safe place that you can access easily.
CHECK with your financial aid office to find out how to transfer your financial aid.ARRANGE to have official transcripts mailed to colleges and universities you are applying to.
