Weave Writing Intensive Assignments into the DNA of your class! Use case studies as formal assignments in your class. The are usually short assignments that require students to write focused essays. Use the University of Buffalo's directory of Case Studies! The University of Buffalo provides both the assignment and answers for these assigments. Don't tie yourself in knots when grading WI assignments! There are many proven strategies available to cut down on the amount of time and effort required to grade a writing assignment. Learn more about the strategy of minimal marking!

Hostos has several resources available to help your students with any writing difficulties. Tutoring is offered at the Hostos Academic Learning Center (HALC).
