• Gift of Philanthropy Event Celebrates the Impact of Giving at Hostos

  The Hostos Community College Foundation held its Gift of Philanthropy celebration on Thursday, November 30. The well-attended event gathered dedicated supporters of Hostos – those who have fought for the College since it was just an idea, and new friends who have joined our movement for educational equity and socioeconomic mobility in the South Bronx.

• Hostos Unveils “La Lucha: The Save Hostos Movement Online Exhibit”  
  
  Yesterday, the Office of the President and the Hostos Community College Library hosted a special presentation of "La Lucha: The Save Hostos Movement Online Exhibit." This virtual exhibit serves as a visual document of the College's formative first decade, marked by community activism. Professor and College Archivist, William Casari, led the presentation at the Hostos Research Center, providing attendees with a guided virtual tour of the exhibit.

• Hostos’ CUNYTuesday Campaign Surpasses Goal, Raises Over $62,000
  
  On Tuesday, November 28, Hostos Community College culminated its CUNYTuesday campaign, which surpassed its $61,000 goal. Donors were asked to help support two vital student resources, the Food Pantry at Hostos and the Circle of 100 Emergency Scholarship Fund, and more than 80 donors rose to the occasion.
