  The Latin American Writers Institute (LAWI) at Hostos Community College proudly announces the publication of the 21st edition of Hostos Review / Revista Hostosiana. This multilingual journal continues its long tradition — begun in 2004 — of amplifying contemporary voices from Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States Latina/o/x community, and the broader Ibero-American diaspora.

• Hostos’ CUNYTuesday Campaign Raises $57,000 for Vital Student Resources
  
  
  December 2, 2025 was recognized as GivingTuesday around the world and CUNYTuesday on all 26 CUNY campuses—a day when individuals are asked to remember the causes that matter most amid this busy season of shopping and giving. For Hostos Community College, it was a day filled with joy and gratitude, as our generous faculty, staff, and community of supporters gave more than $57,000 toward resources that encourage persistence and inspire students’ academic success—including emergency scholarships, the campus food pantry, the Center for Arts and Culture, and the Alumni Fund for Student Transfer Scholarships.
